The prep is the product
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Seal swirls and oxidation under 9H ceramic and you keep them for years. So the paint gets read with a depth gauge, decontaminated with iron remover and clay, machine polished to remove swirls, then wiped down with a panel prep solution so nothing sits between the coating and the clear coat.
Only then does the coating go on, panel by panel, by hand.
What it actually does in Oregon weather
Eight months of rain, tree sap under every Hillsboro maple, and road film off the 26. A coated car sheds most of that. Water beads and carries dirt off, sap and bird droppings stop etching the clear coat if you get to them within a day, and wash time drops by roughly half.
It is not a force field. It resists chemicals, UV, and light marring. Rock chips are still rock chips.

- Can ceramic coating really be applied outdoors?
- We use a covered, controlled setup and schedule coatings around the weather. If conditions would compromise the cure, we reschedule at no cost rather than rush it.
- How long does the job take?
- A 3-year coating with single-stage correction is a full day. A 5-year coating on paint that needs two-stage correction can run into a second day.
- Does it stop scratches?
- No. It resists chemical etching, UV fade, and light marring, and it makes washing far easier. It does not stop rock chips or a shopping cart.
- How do I wash a coated car?
- Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap every two to four weeks. No automatic brush washes. We provide written aftercare and a maintenance schedule.
